Alert Zone - is it me?

Am I missing something? I have a very recent issue of Alert Zone installed on my RT6 Sat Nav. There are occasions when there is a speed camera on one side of the road only, under these circumstances, I get the two beeps when I am driving on the opposite side of the road to the camera and nothing when I return on the same side of the road as the camera. Is this a problem experienced by others in the UK? Is the system set up for left hand drive only?

Confused.

I have the RT6 and have not had that problem, in fact I think I get notifications whichever side of the road the soeedcamspeedcams are on.

Have you also got recent maps installed ?

I have recently posted the latest speedcam files (link) on this thread viewtopic.php?f=30&t=10031

Try installing those & see if that sorts the problem. :eusa-think:

As an owner of a left hand drive RCZ I can assure you it has nothing to do with it. The alerts are working both, on left and right side of the road.

For the NG4 speedcams from GPSunderground that is not the case.
There are camera's for which I am only alerted going one direction even though in the Netherlands all operate in both directions, i.e. they catch you from front and rear.
BTW I think it's a problem in the speedcam files rather than the NG4.

I agree, it's likely to be a problem with the installed files rather than the hardware.

I would go back to the dealer who did the updates for you and explain what the problem is. They should then re-install the required files, and see if that cures the problem.

I use GPS underground for my RT6 alert zone & map updates, and I have never had any issues. If all else fails, try downloading the latest updates, from the link posted on the thread I mentioned above, and try it after installing them. I know they work, I have them installed on my system, so if they don't work on yours it's something else.

I think it is a problem with the data files, it only happens in some locations, but is consistent if I go to the same place twice.
